Cancer exists as one of today’s most deadly illnesses. Millions die each year around the world with no solution, and many of them cannot afford the treatment. However, the cure to cancer would solve all those problems. When this illness finally has a solution, scientists and doctors can focus on other illnesses. Not only would the professionals benefit, but cancer patients and relatives would save money on the treatment, potentially avoiding debt. All these changes in the medical industry may result in a negative impact on the American economy, but human life is far more important than money. The cure to cancer will save millions of lives, help researchers find other cures to illnesses, and impact others positively in countless ways.
Once they discover the cure to cancer, scientists and doctors could spend their time on treating many other illnesses . In the United States alone, over 1.9 million people in total have cancer every year, and 600,000 people die on average. Additionally, over six billion dollars a year fund cancer research every year. People of all ages, including many children and teenagers, die from this deadly disease. If those cancer patients lived, the world could advance greatly. With the cure to cancer, scientists could research and find antidotes to other illnesses. The cure for cancer would allow scientists, doctors, and others to see major progress finding cures to other illnesses. Finding the cure to cancer would therefore save lives and allow the world to advance in technology and more.
When the cure for cancer exists, financial issues and uncertainty for cancer patients will disappear. On average, cancer treatment costs around $42,000 a year, with not even a guaranteed survival chance for the patient . In 2019, over 1.7 million people had cancer. If each person spent that much to cure the patient, serious financial difficulties would arise. American workers above the age of 15 make on average around $42,000 per year . If people spend their entire income on a treatment with low survival chances for themselves or someone else, their life would change drastically for the worse. However, with the cure to cancer, all patients diagnosed with the disease would live and doctors would no longer spend so much time helping them, allowing progression to find cures for other illnesses. Therefore, the cure to cancer would allow hundreds of thousands to save some of their money while also guaranteeing survival.
The cure to cancer may cause a negative impact on the American economy due to rising prices. Because the cost of treatment and this cure would impact the medical industry, the American economy may be affected negatively. 1.9 million Americans need treatment for cancer each year; if they all become cleansed, those citizens may put a huge strain on the economy due to the increased costs related to infrastructure, education and healthcare. However, humans’ lives outweigh the world’s currency in value. Those 1.9 million people could change the world by inventing new technology or creating brilliant ideas. Money will never take precedence over something as important as life, especially millions of lives.
The cure for cancer would impact the world almost more than any other scientific discovery. This antidote would increase the human population, leading to advancements in the world. In addition, people affected by cancer would stop struggling with financial issues, have a guaranteed chance for survival, and prevent debt for most people. Although the American economy might change slightly, fortunately, the millions of lives at risk of death from this disease would be safe. The discovery of this cure would save millions of lives, aid in the research for other medical treatments, and have a positive influence on everyone. Ultimately, the cure for cancer will help the world in countless ways and change the future for humanity.
